Purfire Co. was started by people who got tired of fire starters that broke, corroded, or quietly stopped throwing sparks halfway through a season. So we built our own.

Designed in the field.

Every Purfire prototype is taken into the woods, the alpine, and the rain before it ships. If it can't earn its place in our own packs, it doesn't earn yours.

Made to be used.

We don't make collectibles. We make tools — engineered with the assumption that they'll be dropped, soaked, dragged through dirt, and kept for decades.
